Band Together was written by a Canadian
Author. The theme is for teenagers to learn to express their feelings through
steadfast friendships.

By using their own natural ability to write music and use
other innovative talents, the multicultural friends become creative about their
life situations during the challenging years.
The topics in my stories are based on realism. Each character develops in
personality as true to life as what they were intended to be; natural,
realistic, fun and daring; challenged by bullying, drugs, gossip, and now
curious about relationships, the teenagers are determined to be heard and get
defiant about right-versus-wrong but willing to change their attitudes when
faced with a serious crisis.
In book one Spring Jammin', Clarke developed foster boy Max
Coburn's rebellious temperament through the help of the Children's Aid Society.
In book two, Summer Fireworks the characters solve an
environmental issue with guidance from Ducks Unlimited. In book three,
Fall Apart, some of the kids at school are challenged by lies
said about them, trust issues and rehab. In book four, Winter
X-tremes, with the recession affecting some of the teenagers
lives they become worried about family security. A small group of friends band
